My Part of the worldRead a little about Caerphilly with pictures, and enter the amazing Virtual Tour of the Aber Valley. The Abertridwr section of the tour is now significantly updated; all locations have imagemaps for navigation and quite apart from adding fourteen pictures last December, I have added ten more today, including eight entirely new locations and an updated overview map.
Learn about the crazy mixed-up personality that is me. Yes, this area does contain some personal and family information, but my favourite bit has to be the photogallery. There is also a section dealing with my aborted career switch into teaching (I finished a PGCE in 2000 but taught for just over a term-and-a-half). Not seriously updated yet, but on its way.
My MotherMy mother has many and varied interests, but she would like to hear from anyone involved in tracing their roots. Names particularly of interest include Angove (!), Goodland and Clissold.
Also includes information about a soon-to-be published book about the Angove family - newest information includes a picture of the cover and a price!
Cornwall Lookup ExchangeA fantastic voluntary resource, hosted on this site since 13th March 1999, this is the place to go if you need to access family history-type information from Cornwall. Also links to other counties. At the end of January I released a revitalised list and have since added many, many new resources.
