Caerphilly County Borough Council came into being in May 1997 when the Welsh Counties and district councils were changed into 'Unitary Authorities'. Caerphilly CBC is basically the area previously covered by the Rhymney Valley District Council which was in Mid Glamorgan and another council, the name of which I've forgotten, in Gwent.
Most of the photographs here are of Caerphilly town itself, but I intend to venture further afield when time and cash permit. In the meantime, enjoy.
