This photograph about sums up the 'new' Caerphilly. Anyone who has not visited for a few years will have great trouble recognising the location. There are a couple of clues... First there's the obvious castle wall and bridge on the left, next the cenetaph just visible on the right. Lastly, and less obviously, there is the height at which the photograph was taken.
Yes, this is Castle Street. The cenetaph hasn't moved, and neither has the castle. The Twyn car park is still more-or-less in the same place, and it was from this that I took the photo. Practically everything else has changed in the last couple of years though!
As with the photogallery, I have reorganised the Caerphilly Collection to include a thumbnail index. As far as I am aware this is now all working.
So, without further ado, please visit my Caerphilly Photographic Collection, see what is there, and if you get bored, here are a few more links to keep you occupied.
