The Square

The Square at Senghenydd, Dan Evans shop ahead.

The memorial in the square comemorates the dead of the world wars, and was renovated in 1995 for the fiftieth anniversary celebrations of the end of the second war. Turn left (West) up Station Road, continue North West up Commercial Street, or head North up High Street

Here's a picture of the square at the turn of the century. Surprisingly similar!

Of course, there's no war memorial, and if you look very carefully you can see the Noddfa chapel off to the right (North)
