

Oh the things that happened in this yard. Not that you can see much of it in this picture. On the right behind that fence is a set of slow steps which I and a couple of friends used to invent Lego contraptions to roll down. The best were simple; a pair of large wheels on an axle for example.
The other majorly memorable event here, and I'm not sure quite why, was when one of my friends slipped on the gravel more-or-less directly below the camera position, and ended up missing the rest of the day to go to hospital for stitches in his chin. Or was it his lip?
The bit of building in this picture is interesting. I have an old photograph that shows that the part to the left of the arched entrance is a later addition. This part is the closed canteen on the lower level with a classroom and office(s) above.
