Station Terrace (behind the camera in this shot) Park Terrace and Grove Terrace (behind Park) were the only houses in Senghenydd on the same side of the railway as the mine (which was situated where you can see the saw mills in the distance), this also meant that the railway separated them from the rest of the village...
