For some reason the terraces at the end of King Street nearer the square are some of the more desirable in Abertridwr. Sorry, I didn't think to take a picture of them! Here you can see the top end of the street and the small building which houses the Welsh language nursery, part of Mudiad Ysgolion Meithrin.
South takes you to the village's only large shop, East back towards Caerphilly along this road and West further into the valley along this road.
