This is Cwmaber Infants School. It started life as a Boys School, but, as with all things these days, moral decay has taken its toll and the sexes now mingle freely.
When full of children this is a wonderful place, happy and productive. Outside school hours however, with that eerieness common to most older public buildings, it still seems populated.
Noisy hot water pipes are probably to blame.
Being half way up Bryngelli Terrace, Cwmaber Infants does wonders for the muscular development of those of its young pupils who walk to school.
